Welcome to a New Chapter of Healing and Growth!

At Asher Haven, healing isn’t about fitting into a rigid mold,it is a deeply personal journey toward self-discovery, resilience, and balance. I’m Esther Chelladurai, a Licensed Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP #5956) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC-II #1562).

My mission is simple: to offer compassionate, accessible, and high-quality counseling that helps you overcome life’s toughest hurdles and step fully into your next chapter.

A Foundation Built on Courage and Community

My career has been shaped by a deep commitment to serving diverse populations across Middle Tennessee, from inpatient addiction treatment and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) clinics to specialized outpatient family care.

Over the years, my clinical work has spanned the full spectrum of life, guiding children and families navigating Neurodevelopmental conditions and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) through Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI), supporting teens and adults working through ADHD, anxiety, and personality disorders, and bringing dedicated psychotherapy to seniors in long-term care. Opening my private practice in late 2024 was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream: creating a welcoming, community-rooted space where genuine healing can flourish.

A Neuroscience-Informed, Integrated Approach

Healing begins with understanding not just your symptoms, but the unique story your brain and lived experiences have written. I follow a multi-modal, integrated approach to treat the whole person, mind, body, and spirit:

• Advanced Trauma & Grief Processing: Utilizing Brainspotting and High Acuity Brainspotting, I help clients access and process deep-seated emotional pain, grief, and trauma. By promoting greater interoceptive awareness and attention to somatic experiences, therapy can help clients become more attuned to the ways emotions and unresolved experiences may be reflected in the body.

This approach supports deeper processing and integration while helping clients develop greater awareness, regulation, and connection to themselves.

• Cognitive & Behavioral Restructuring: I draw on approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)-informed principles, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, greater psychological flexibility, and healthier patterns of thinking and responding.

I have also completed additional training in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) through NOCD. While OCD is not the sole focus of my practice, this training has expanded my understanding of intrusive thoughts, anxiety, avoidance, reassurance-seeking, compulsive patterns, and intolerance of uncertainty.

I thoughtfully incorporate relevant ERP-informed principles when clinically appropriate as part of an individualized treatment approach.

• Relational & Behavioral Growth: I also incorporate Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)-informed principles to support parent-child and family relationships, Motivational Interviewing to strengthen motivation and confidence for change, and recovery-oriented approaches, including 12-Step Facilitation, when supporting individuals navigating addiction and behavioral change.

Are You Ready to Begin?

Whether you are navigating addiction, processing trauma, confronting anxiety, or seeking direction through a major life transition, you do not have to carry it alone. Together, we will build a path forward tailored entirely to you.
